We are ALWAYS happy to welcome anyone with a lover of good music and stage work, and we pride ourselves on the friendliness of our team.It's easy to arrange a "no obligations" visit to our rehearsals at Deane URC when we start in September. This is probably the best way to sample the "goods" we have to offer and will give you a guide as to our arrangements.
Last autumn John did just that, having seen our website,he stuck his head round the door one Monday evening and was soon helping out as a non singing stand-in for an absent principal. He enjoyed it so much that he persevered and by March he was playing a full part in the chorus of "Utopia Ltd" and helping with backstage work as well!
Shirley arrived in 2006, tried the singing which she enjoyed but was less happy with the stage acting stuff..But she enjoyed the camaraderie and the music so much that she has stayed with us as our call boy and catering supervisor!!
